Celebrating The Amateur: Chris Bohjalian in Conversation with Nancy Kricorian

We pleased to announce we are hosting an evening of conversation with acclaimed novelist Chris Bohjalian and author Nancy Kricorian in celebration of the launch of Bohjalian's latest novel, The Amateur.

Join us on Tuesday, August 11, from 7:00–8:30 PM for a thought-provoking discussion exploring literature, history, storytelling, and the creative process. Following the conversation, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase signed copies of The Amateur.

Chris Bohjalian is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of more than twenty-five books, including The Flight AttendantThe Sandcastle GirlsHour of the Witch, and The Lioness. His novels have been translated into over thirty languages and have garnered numerous awards and accolades. Known for his masterful storytelling and meticulous research, Bohjalian frequently explores themes of history, identity, and human resilience. His novel The Flight Attendant was adapted into the acclaimed HBO Max series starring Kaley Cuoco.

Nancy Kricorian is a novelist, essayist, and educator whose work explores the Armenian diaspora, memory, and intergenerational storytelling. She is the author of the novels ZabelleDreams of Bread and FireAll the Light There Was, and The Burning Heart of the World. A longtime member of the Armenian-American literary community, Kricorian has taught at institutions including Columbia University and has been recognized for her contributions to contemporary Armenian literature and culture.
